UV grow lamps hum softly, washing the planters in neon greens and magentas that never quite feel natural. Gen-engineered shrubs grow too perfectly, leaves trimmed by drones that never sleep. A cracked patio table and scavenged chairs suggest people linger here, though no one stays long. Vent fans rattle nearby, pushing warm air across the tiles, carrying the smell of ozone and wet concrete. From up here, traffic looks distant, but the city is still listening.
