The High Court is a bar built on the 3rd floor of an old warehouse. Patrons wait in a long line on the street, being let into the building which is mostly open up to the 3rd floor. A staircase winds up to the weapon check and “limbo”, a half bar there to hold you over until you are deemed cool enough to head upstairs.
The third floor opens into a massive open floorplan, covered in multicolor lights and lcd monitors. A long mahogany bar dominates the wall, and across the room a large ornate throne sits empty. The Northern wall opens by way of massive garage doors. This allows the stage to be seen across the street where the house band, Velvet Lazer, often performs.
